Hey thanks, Pistol. It's nice of you to say.
The song has many well-worn themes, all wrapped up in a fresh new wrapper.
Besides, how many unique experiences can one man or woman have from the rest of the world and it's history?
Just say it differently... If you can't stumble across something new. 8)

This really works for me musically. The acoustic folk/rock vibe fits the lyric perfectly, and the rhythmic flow carries the emotional storytelling naturally.

Lyrically the themes are familiar, but I think the consistency of the story/book metaphors and the sincerity of the delivery make it connect well. Nothing feels forced, and the repeated “That’s just the way our story ends” lands emotionally without overdoing it. Overall, this feels like one of those songs where the music and lyric elevate each other really well.

Enjoyed listening.
