Hi there
although some of the lines could be refined, the general appeal of the lyrics is because it reminds me of the Beverley Hillbillies, and I like the use of quotes from conversations, which sets it up well.
My main point for discussion is that, in the chorus, you don't actually answer the question you posed. "What's the difference between outlaws and in-laws?".
You could counterpose two answers.
So, if you had been talking about family and friends instead, you could start with something like "You can't choose your family, but you can choose your friends"
But in this case, it could be something like "You don't get to choose your in-laws, but I'd much rather be an outlaw" or something along those lines. It also maintains the slightly humourous line of the rest of the lyrics.
But it's just my opinion.
The song will bounce along without any changes just as well

As far as the question you asked, Outlaws Are Wanted... answers that question.
What I mean by that is.. The Youngers, The Dalton Gang, Jessie James, Billy The Kid, were all WANTED MEN of course by the law, they had a price on their heads. On the flip side In-Laws for the most part is people you just have to put up with, there for they are NOT WANTED. Kinda what I'm saying. ;D

I like the overall production and song structure...
Though I feel the chorus seems a little strange structurally...either like its one line too long or one line too short...? Can't explain it....
I think that may have to do with the chord pattern under the sanity line...instead of following the same pattern of the first two lines, (D - A) it does a D- G- A -D, which feels like the natural resolution of the chorus...I might do something like
(D)
My daddy warned 'bout fast cars and whiskey
(D -A)
Mama warned 'bout the wrong kinda friends
(D)
Nobody warned 'bout marryin' into madness
(D - G)
'Cause that's where your sanity ends
(A)

in the pause...Outlaws are wanted
to me it feels like there should be a longer pause before "outlaws are wanted"...(Not sure how much control you have over the chord structure btw)
These are just my opinion mind you....good song...enjoyed it!

Happy you took time to listen and post. I've had a problem with Suno for the last two weeks, I haven't been able to create without getting an error. They did an up date on my account a few days ago and I was able to create, so I made about 8 versions thinking I could go back the next day to tweak it but I keep getting that error. Their support team tell me they'll get if fixed soon. But they won't tell me what soon is.
When I'm able I'm planning on tweaking it some more.
