I lost my son to a drug addiction, and I wrote this song to try to see the world through his eyes. He was a good man, wonderful heart, but made some bad decisions. I know many of you may have a loved one who is suffering with an addiction, and prayers for those who have to watch a loved one suffer through their nightmare! My son took his own life. I couldn't talk about his passing, so I expressed my thoughts and pain through music. It's truly gotten me through it all. I hope you enjoy the song!

Thank you Sid, I appreciate your thoughts on this song. Yes, music is the only way I can actually talk about my sons passing. It's been almost two years now. I actually lost two sons "within six months", one to drugs, the other to alcohol. Only God got me through it, I actually didn't know if I was going to make it. Music is my therapy and has truly helped me. Thanks again Sid.

Thank you Rob, I truly appreciate your kind response. It took me several weeks to get through this song. I'd write, and it hurt! I'd go a few days and try again. It was important for me, very personal. I'm praying "someone" may hear this song, and it will make them hesitate to take that first step into addiction.
