I chased my Nashville dream from 25-32 years old back in late 1990’s. Moved there for two years……Then chased the girl back home (still songs being written about that.
Had a 7 piece band and performed shows in midwest.
Met my wife and settled into raising kids. Gave up the dream for 25 years. This last year I pulled out some old note books with song ideas and started to write songs aimed at other artist instead of myself. It opened up something very creatative in me again. Discovering apps like suno to upload my melody’s and lyrics and then build the production like a producer has been a blessing. Anyone that frowns in ai ….well can keep it to themselves.  These are my songs and using ai to build them is no different then going to my old band and asking them to write parts for my songs (they never once claimed ownership)

I am starting to have success and I like how it feels. This is my year !!

There is no Suno shaming here. No worries.
When you row someone else across the river, you get there yourself

Not worried about suno shaming , I know it’s a tool used by Nashville now and they aren’t saying. If someone is using for fun to make up songs  go for it, or a real writer is putting in original material and doing same thing they would do with a band (if can afford) then let them.   The old argument that taking money out of musicians pockets is an excuse. An artist if they take the song will record it and pay those musicians when it happens.

Thanks

I love your music a lot! Just find it hard lately to meet the current standard.
