Thanks for the generous comments. I have been writing and rewriting this one for several years. This is the closest I've come to feeling like it might be close to done.  I kind of saw this as cinematic, hence the descriptive scenario. It needs to be formatted properly so there's still work to be done. Thanks again for taking the time to check this out.

Bill, this was just a remembrance of my teenage years living at the shore. Glad it resonated with you. The 70's feel was intentional. Thanks for listening.

'Painfully slow"?  I like to think of it as languid like a hot, humid August day on the beach at the Jersey Shore.
