If fun and pain can coexist, well you've nailed the feeling, though, I think it's more tongue in cheek theme wise.
Musically, it feels great, some neat guitar riffs come and go, and you've sung it very convincingly, like I believe you're the last guy in a bar, late at night.

"And now I’m the only face in the mirror" and "Don’t want to sound like a paranoid clown", these are really effective lyrics.

"Whatever 'It' May Be" is a playful, tongue-in-cheek country-pop song about the power of imagination. It never reveals what "it" actually is, inviting listeners to bring their own interpretation. Every lyric works on two levels - completely innocent on the surface, yet suggestive enough to make people smile. A few years ago, I stopped by a singer-songwriters house in SCarolina and stayed a couple of days. We got a bottle a bottle of Jack one night and wrote till we were too drunk to write.

At least I was. He finished the song with his band after I left.
I fed it up into SUNO a minute ago.

It is similar in attitude to your song.

Took a listen.... and to be honest........you didn't tell the listener how you "feel" , you just described a few annoying things. And you kinda insulted a whole songwriting community in Nashville... not sure that's a good idea......... (wink) ps. maybe a little whiny? LOL            just saying what I would say in a real workshop, please don't be offended.
